Women in MIDS Coffee Meetup: Learn Together: AI Bias and Fairness

Open to all women-identifying MIDS students and faculty.

Women in MIDS Coffee Meetup this week will be a viewing party! We will watch a special lecture delivered at MIT on AI bias and fairness. Since this is a topic we all feel strongly about, relating it to our roles or roles close to ours seemed interesting. This special lecture by Ava Soleimany covers understanding and mitigation of algorithmic bias at all stages of the AI life cycle. The watch-together session will be followed by a 15 min discussion.

Join us in a session to introduce understanding of algorithmic biases in order to learn further and build responsible systems.
