Aurangzeb is currently CEO of Altia Systems, which has recently launched PanaCast®, the world's first Panoramic-4K Plug-and-Play USB camera system.  The award-winning PanaCast product delivers an immersive 180° field of view with a natural human visual perspective, enhancing everyday collaboration with popular apps. The PanaCast platform combines real-time immersive video with real-time detection, sensing and learning to enable autonomous learning systems with intelligent vision.

Earlier, Aurangzeb was president & CEO at Everspin Technologies, Inc., a VC-funded spin-off focusing on MRAM ICs (NASD: MRAM).  He was also co-founder, president & CEO at Altius Solutions, and immediately following the merger with Simplex Solutions, contributed to a ~$300M IPO in May 2001 (NASD: SPLX)

Aurangzeb also held senior engineering and general management positions at Cadence, Cirrus Logic (CRUS), Tandem Computers (now part of HP), and Fairchild. He helped deliver several industry-first systems and SoCs to market, including the Sony Computer Entertainment GS®I-32 and PlayStation®-2 Graphics Synthesizers, the Cirrus Logic 3Ci™ SoC and the Tandem Computers NonStop™ series of massively-parallel servers. Several products received industry recognition and delivered over more $1B in annual revenues.

Aurangzeb received dual master’s degrees in engineering and management from Stanford University, a double-major bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science and nuclear engineering from UC Berkeley and a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics from Government College, Lahore, Pakistan, where he stood first in class.
