Courses

The School of Information's courses bridge the disciplines of information and computer science, design, social sciences, management, law, and policy. We emphasize small classes and project-based learning, with courses that teach students to develop solutions and shape policies that influence how people seek, use, and share information. A range of courses are offered in the fields of human-computer interaction, information economics and policy, information law and policy, information organization and retrieval, information systems design, social aspects of information, and information and communication technologies and development (ICTD).

Taking an I School class

We welcome interest in our graduate-level Information classes from current UC Berkeley graduate and undergraduate students and community members. More information about signing up for classes.
