MIDS & MICS Alumni Course Library

As part of our ongoing commitment to support your continued growth, the MIDS & MICS Alumni Course Library — designed exclusively for I School alumni — offers access to asynchronous recordings and syllabi from all MIDS & MICS courses. The MIDS & MICS Alumni Course Library allows you to revisit the material that shaped your journey, stay current with new trends, and continue advancing your career.

When Do I Get Access?

All MIDS and MICS alumni will receive an email invitation several weeks after their degree is finalized; invitations will be sent to your Berkeley bMail account from notifications@instructure.com. The invitation includes an enrollment link with a unique single-use access code, so please do not share the email or the link.

When you click through from the invitation email, you will be asked to set up your profile and create a new password. You can access the Alumni Course Library with that new password and the email address you entered.

(Past MIDS and MICS alumni were sent email invitations in October 2024.)

What If I Didn’t Get the Invitation?

If you graduated more than two months ago and did not receive the invitation email, please submit this form to request another invitation:

FAQ

Can I access MICS courses if I graduated with a MIDS degree (or vice versa)?

No, you will only have access to courses related to your degree.

What content is available in the Alumni Course Library?

The library includes course syllabi and asynchronous recordings of lectures from all currently offered MIDS or MICS courses that include asynchronous lectures.

Can I access the live synchronous class sessions?

Unfortunately, due to FERPA regulations, we cannot provide access to recordings or live classes that include students unless you are currently enrolled in the course.

How do I provide feedback on the Alumni Course Library?

Your feedback is valuable to us! Inside the library, you will find a feedback form where you can share your thoughts, suggestions, and any issues you encounter. Your input will help us continuously improve the library.

Are there plans to offer additional resources or courses for alumni?

We are exploring the possibility of offering live classes on specific topics most relevant to our alumni.
