Support the Leadership Development Program

The Berkeley School of Information Leadership Development Program aims to increase advancement of women and non-binary students into technology leadership roles by providing an environment that affirms and reflects intersectional experiences. Students will learn and share strategies for navigating unique gender-based challenges and opportunities individuals may face in leadership.

We will share more information with you based on your selections below.

* LDP mentors must be able to commit to:

  • Regular (e.g., monthly) virtual meetings with their mentees for a 6-month period, generally November through May
  • Sharing with their mentee their experiences in advancing to leadership roles.
  • Supporting their mentee’s goals through active listening, providing additional perspectives, and serving as a sounding board. This may also include making introductions for informational interviews or suggesting resources or areas to explore for professional development.
