Student Panelist
Dean Rene is a second-year MIMS student who previously worked in the public and social sector directing student and family-focused programs, evaluation, and strategy at City Year, College Track, and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. In Spring 2024, he will graduate with a MIMS degree from the I School and a Master of Public Affairs from the Goldman School of Public Policy.
Chase Stokes is a current Ph.D. student focusing on information visualization, narratives, and science communication. Over the summer, he interned as a Research Intern at Tableau under Vidya Setlur. Chase graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Psychology and Gender and Sexuality Studies and was previously a Data Collector for The Family Institute at Northwestern University.
Juliana Gomez Consuegra is a current MIDS student focusing on utilizing data science to explore climate crisis mitigation and biodiversity conservation. She is currently the Co-founder/CEO of Éccole!, a $3.2 million college scholarship fund for underprivileged students in Colombia financed by the Colombian Ministries of Education, Commerce and Labor. Juliana graduated from the Universidad de Los Andes with a M.Sc. degree in Biology.
