The admissions team and current MIMS students look forward to welcoming you into our very special I School community! The admissions team will briefly cover important information about preparing to start the program, but the highlight of the webinar will be current MIMS students sharing what they love about the I School.


Student Panelists

Sanjana Gajendran is a second-year MIMS student focusing on data science and software development. She graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, with a B.Tech. in Production Engineering and worked as a Summer Associate at Greentech over the summer. Prior to joining the I School, Sanjana worked as a Software Engineer at GE Healthcare. She is also currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant for INFO 259: Natural Language Processing.

Frances Brittingham is a first-year MIMS student focusing on Human-Computer Interaction and UX Research. She graduated from Brown University with a B.S. in Biology. Frances currently works as a freelance UX Designer and Researcher after working as a UX Researcher at Calm. 

Betty Fekadu is a second-year MIMS student focusing on UX Research and Product Design. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Business Information Technology and worked as a Consultant at Deloitte over the summer. Prior to joining the I School, Betelehem worked as a Consulting Analyst at Deloitte. 

Kal Yahssin Walker is a first-year MIMS student focusing on Human-Computer Interaction and UX Research. He graduated from the University of Maryland Global Campus with a B.S. in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Computer Science. Kal currently works as a freelance UX Designer at SOMOS.tech.

Miguel Angel Rodriguez-Arias is a first-year MIMS student focusing on AI Product Management, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Research and Design, and Entrepreneurship. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Product Engineering. Miguel currently works as the Vice President of Community at the Berkeley Haas Open Innovation Squad.
