Faculty Lecture
Professor John Chuang's research is focused on biosensory computing, climate informatics, information economics and policy. He leads the BioSENSE Lab in studying brainwave authentication using passthoughts, affective biosensing, embodied decision-making, and privacy of ubiquitous sensing. His earlier work investigated strategic cybersecurity investments, incentives for peer production, and scalability of multicast trees. This term he is teaching Info 134. Information Technology Economics, Strategy, and Policy..
Professor Coye Cheshire studies sociological social psychology and group processes, with a focus on social exchange, cooperation, and trust in technology-mediated environments. His research aims to advance our understanding of the affordances and limitations of information technologies, and encourage cooperation, trust and prosocial behavior while combating distrust and misinformation. This term he is teaching Info 203. Social Issues of Information.
