I School alumnus Brooke Maury (MIMS '05) will begin a doctoral program in music technology this fall at NYU.
At NYU, Maury will be studying how browse, organize, search, and visualize music, a program he describes as "a fascinating challenge given all of the new developments at the intersection of music and technology."
At the I School, Maury received a 2005 James R. Chen Award for the final project Orpheus, a "platform-independent MP3 player and exploration tool for discovering the universe of new and independent recording artists."
