Assistant Professor Jenna Burrell has been awarded a Regent's Junior Faculty Fellowship for 2008.
The fellowship provides a summer salary award for junior faculty use on a proposed project that provides an opportunity for educational enrichment through significant research, advanced or independent study, or improvement of teaching effectiveness.
Professor Burrell's research focuses on Information and Communication Technology in Development (ICTD), with a particular focus on the social and cultural implications of technology in sub-Saharan Africa.
