Understanding the role of machine learning in voter registration fraud piqued my curiosity of how data science algorithms and techniques can enhance the democratic process, boost voter involvement, and combat shortcomings in election systems. My ultimate goal is to create data-driven policies that create an equitable society for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, ability, and socioeconomic status.
