In the MIMS program I focused on broad notions of accessibility in digital archives, sometimes through critical writing and sometimes through UX design. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Information Studies at UCLA, where I use disability studies and queer theory to illustrate power and authority within archives and archival theory. Specifically looking at natural history museums, I am interested in the history of colonialism and how critical theory can help us better understand it.
I'm passionate about using data to inform the creation, distribution and monetization of video content.
