Alumnus Marc Hofstadter (MLIS 1980) has released a new book of essays, Healing the Split, published last week by Dog Ear Publishers.
Dr. Hofstadter served as the librarian of the San Francisco Municipal Railway for 23 years until his recent retirement. Healing the Split follows five previous books of poetry: "Rising at 5 AM" (2010), "Luck" (2008), "Sharks Tooth" (2006), "Visions" (2001), and "House of Peace" (1999). Hofstadter currently lives in Walnut Creek, California.
