School of Information professor Morten Hansen has been named of the world’s top fifty thinkers in management in 2021 by Thinkers50, a global ranking of management thinkers published every two years.
Hansen is the author of Great at Work (2018), in which he draws from an extensive, original study of 5,000 managers and employees to show how top performers work less and achieve more, and by so doing provides a new theory of professional productivity. He is also co-author of Great by Choice (with Jim Collins, 2011) and the author of Collaboration (2009). He is also faculty at Apple University at Apple, and was previously a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.
Previously, Hansen was ranked #26 on the Thinkers50 list in 2019, #41 in 2017, #34 in 2015, and #28 in 2013.
