Biography

Before I started at UC Berkeley, I was the Director of Digital Tooling at Blu Homes, an innovative prefab homebuilder that specializes in the hi-tech manufacturing of modern, configurable homes. My goal as the leader of the Digital Tooling department was to empower our clients and internal employees with interactive and automation tools that make the home building process more enjoyable, efficient and accurate. One of my notable accomplishments at Blu had been overseeing from the start the development of our online 3D Home Configurator, a game-changing tool that has been recognized by several media organizations including the New York Times, PC World and Venture Beat.

My passion for generative design began while I was studying at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan. It was there that I educated myself on advanced 3D parametric modeling practices and emerging digital fabrication techniques. In the final semester I was awarded honorable mention for my cumulative studio work in the Willeke Portfolio Competition.
