As a Security Engineer II at AArete, I work in an enterprise environment implementing solutions to security problems that are high priority and compliant with frameworks such as ISO 27001, and HITRUST.

I have led advanced programming projects with industry leaders and third parties on security solutions. I have contributed to auditing, application control, modern authentication, email filtering, phishing campaigns, training, f SIEM management, system hardening, and incident response

I am also a Master of Information and Cybersecurity candidate at UC Berkeley, where I am learning the latest theories and practices in the field of cybersecurity. I have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity from Illinois State University, where I received multiple honors for my academic achievement and citizenship. I have certifications in Digital Literacy Foundations, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and SC-900.

I am interested in cloud security and how to protect networks and systems, focusing on blue team aspects to protect people's data.

I am willing to relocate but prefer to work in the Chicagoland area.
