American Sign Language Bot

Conversational AI is disrupting the customer service industry by creating personalized experiences at scale. We plan to utilize modelling techniques from this field to help American Sign Language (ASL) speakers in retail environments. Our invention ASL-bot, is an ASL language aware conversational bot which assists ASL speakers in retail environment to interact with customer success agents with the help of real time video intelligence to interpret ASL. We provide an overview of the data processing, model implementation and error analysis for our invention. We also provide an overview of how to enhance our system to scale and support ASL video intelligence in the future.
