StockSense

StockSense is focused on providing more accessible data-driven tools for surging popularity of momentum trading among retail investors, who make up approximately 20% of the trading volume in the US stock market today. Using public stock data from Yahoo Finance, we are applying backtesting, time series analysis, machine learning models, and combinatorial purged cross-validation on historical stock performance for our MVP; we intend to use our MVP to contribute to peer and industry learning about the reliability of technical indicators in stock trading.
