What: Bargain Goods is a web-based app that aims to bridge the inequality gap by helping low-income families in New York City have access to affordable groceries.

How: User inputs their grocery list  and BargainGoods finds the most affordable grocery store near them using a recommendation system that optimizes for distance and budget.

With this app, we hope to help bridge the inequality gap by helping low-income families in food deserts in New York City find more affordable groceries through a recommendation system. By optimizing for budget and distance of these grocery shoppers, we hope to present them with the most cost and time efficient grocery store based on their needs.
