MIMS Teambuilding Workshop

This event is strongly encouraged for all MIMS 2015 students.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to learn best practices for working in teams, which can set you up for success in your coursework — specifically your final projects.

Special guest MIMS alumnae Valerie Lanard, founder & CEO of Gigabody, and Kim Norlen, senior technical program manager at Twitter, will share tips and tricks that can be put to use immediately and can also help prepare you for work in your next job. The last half of this workshop will include an interactive session using the “Whole Brain” model, where you will identify your working and communication styles as well as how to work most effectively with others.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from two experts who have led both large and small teams to success. Bring your questions and thoughts on the challenges and opportunities found while working with and leading teams.
