Tribute to Spring 2020 Graduates
Graduating students, faculty, families, and friends are invited to an online tribute to the I School’s Spring 2020 graduates.
The online event will honor graduates from all four School of Information degree programs: Ph.D. in information management & systems, Master of Information Management and Systems (MIMS), Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS), and Master of Information and Cybersecurity (MICS).
We will be recognizing 45 MIMS graduates, 107 MIDS graduates, 12 MICS graduates, and four Ph.D. graduates.
We will also be announcing the winners of several Spring 2020 awards:
- James R. Chen Award for outstanding MIMS final projects.
- Hal R. Varian MIDS Capstone Award for outstanding MIDS capstone project.
- Lily L. Chang MICS Capstone Award for outstanding MICS capstone project.
- Outstanding faculty and teaching assistant awards, as voted by students from all three master’s programs.
In the absence of a formal graduation ceremony, we want to recognize the accomplishments of this graduating class. The event video will be streamed at 9:30 am PDT; if you can’t be there promptly at 9:30, the video will be available for viewing any time after that.
