AI Forensics and Ethics: An AMA with MIMS Alumnus Marc Faddoul
I first gained interest and experience in algorithmic auditing as a MIMS student seven years ago.
Since then, I have co-founded a non-profit organization that scrutinizes the algorithms of the largest tech platforms, such as TikTok’s algorithm or ChatGPT. Our data-driven investigations inform regulators and the public to hold tech platforms accountable to the law and to their users. For instance, the European Commission started an investigation against Meta following one of our reports earlier this year.
I will tell that story and how the transdisciplinary perspectives and opportunities offered at the School of Information led me to this path. And open to all the questions!
