• Curricular Practical Training (CPT): Curricular Practical Training is a type of off-campus work permission for international students on F-1 visas.

• Optional Practical Training (OPT): Optional Practical Training (OPT) is an F-1 student employment benefit that allows for off-campus work authorization in a student’s field of study. Students generally apply for OPT in their last semester.
