Writing Workshop for New MIMS Students

This workshop ​provides ​additional ​preparation ​in ​critical ​thinking ​and ​writing ​for ​new MIMS ​students ​who ​would ​like ​to ​develop ​these ​skills ​in ​order ​to ​prepare ​for ​the ​MIMS ​core ​courses ​Info ​202, ​Info ​203, ​and ​Info ​205.

The workshop is intended to help students be more successful in the writing-heavy core courses. We especially recommend it if you’re returning to graduate school after some years in industry and haven’t done academic writing for a while or if you are a non-native speaker of English.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
9:00 am – 10:30 am PDT

The writing workshop schedule does not overlap with the Python Boot Camp; students may sign up for both.
