I School Orientation for New Ph.D. Students
Orientation is required for all incoming Ph.D. students. The exact time is subject to change.
This two-day event will be a great overall introduction to the School of Information, the Ph.D. program and life at UC Berkeley. We’ll cover topics such as community, degree structure, career services, and student life.
It will also be your first opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow Ph.D. students, faculty, and staff. We’ll reach out as we get closer to the time of orientation with further details.
Dress code for both days is smart casual
