Description

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position, starting August 2019. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field, have a strong research record, and be committed to excellence in both research and teaching. We are interested in candidates with a research background in Cybersecurity. Candidates with significant research experience in web security, including security and privacy aspects of online social media, are especially encouraged to apply. We currently have four successful faculty members working in the cybersecurity and privacy areas, with foci on Systems, Network Security and Privacy. The ideal candidate for this position will complement and further strengthen our department’s research and education efforts in computer Security and privacy. This position offers a competitive salary and generous startup package.
