6sense is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in its Bangalore and Pune offices to become part of a team designing and developing solutions for our platform.  

Desired Qualifications

• BE/BTech/BS or equivalent
• 10+ years relevant experience ME/MTech/MS
• 7+ years relevant experience 

Responsibilities

• Write performant REST APIs for both internal and external consumption 
• Build micro services and their deployment process  
• Build a data pipeline running thousands of background jobs a day 
• Take ownership of team projects as well as independent services and applications 
• Drive team processes like sync-up meetings, approach-reviews, code-reviews, team-meetings, periodic one-to-one with team members 
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals 
• Grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting and hiring 
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities 

Must have Skills 

• Expert in Python and its ecosystem 
• Expert in Django Web Framework 
• Experience in writing secure RESTful APIs 
• Functioning knowledge of asynchronous processing tools like Celery, Pika etc 
• Solid understanding of Relational Databases and SQL 
• Good understanding of Version Control System like Git 

Nice to have Skills

• Understanding of the Map Reduce paradigm 
• Use streaming projects like Kafka and Storm to build a real time pipeline 
• ReactJS as the front-end
