Content Writer (AI) (A.I. For Anyone)

A.I. for Anyone is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based out of New York City, focused on increasing artificial intelligence (AI) literacy. Our organization’s mission is to:

• Empower our audience to adapt and prosper in an increasingly automated world, and
• Democratize AI knowledge to allow citizens to shape policy.

We believe that education is the best tool to prepare citizens, especially students and low-skilled workers, for a world with increased human-computer interactions. By providing our audience fundamental knowledge of automation technologies, we hope to equip them with the skills to fulfill new job roles and responsibilities, as well as the ability to understand a rapidly changing job market.

As a Content Writer at A.I. for Anyone, you will be get the opportunity to directly impact our mission by contributing to our fastest growing communication medium. Content Writers are challenged with the job of distilling some of AI’s hottest topics and current events into layman’s terms. 

Responsibilities:

• Create one (1) article biweekly
• Edit articles on an ad hoc basis

Content Requirements:

• Relevant, timely, and stimulating topics
• Able to be comprehended by high school students
• Approximately 750 words
• Written from a nonpartisan lens
• Have a strong “voice”

Qualifications:

• Hold or pursuing a bachelor’s in STEM-related field
• Passionate about artificial intelligence and it’s societal impacts
• Able to consistently meet deadlines
• Able to execute at a high level with little instruction
• Exceptional writing skills
• Detail-oriented
