Data Scientist (Cisco)

Job Description

Our direct client, a large high-tech enterprise company based in San Jose, CA, is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join its advanced analytics team. The person in this role will be responsible for interacting with internal business clients to understand their analysis and reporting requirements, make recommendations, work with the team to develop and deliver on those requirements, and then present findings and recommendations back to the clients.

Strong communication skills and analytical skills are critical to understand, recommend, deliver, and clarify regarding internal client business requirements.

Current or recent experience working with the following skills are required for this role:

• Tech Skills - R and Python are a must. Candidates will ideally have at least 1 year of work/internship experience working with each of these technologies
• Statistics knowledge - Candidates must be able to do the following: data cleansing, data visualization, and machine learning.
• Being able to present to internal clients and managers is also required.
