QA Engineer (Cloudian)

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Test and verify the quality of server and client products.
• Develop and maintain tools and automation frameworks to allow quick regression testing of products under a variety of scenarios.
• Write and maintain documents of test cases, test plans, and test systems.
• Work with development and support groups to deliver high-quality products quickly per schedule.
• Propose and advocate product features and processes that improve testability and quality.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• 2+ years of QA or development experience with complex software systems.
• Proficiency in Python and bash scripting
• Proficiency with Linux and networking.
• Proficiency with written and spoken English.
• High degree of analytical and problem solving skills.
• BS/BA degree or better

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Experience with QA automation, especially with large scale system testing.
• Distributed systems, NoSQL DBs (Cassandra, Redis), storage systems knowledge
