You’ll be involved in every step from design, prototyping, acquiring, wrangling and analyzing data to front-end development and production.
- Standards, tools and training: You’ll spend around 30% of your time helping to create a culture of data across the Foundation through generous collaboration with others, developing a distinctive online and physical presence for the organization’s data visualization work, creating data visualization standards and guidelines, and training staff.
- Creative and strategic exploration: You’ll cultivate and identify opportunities for how your skills and the Foundation’s growing data assets can be used advance our mission, and to communicate the work of our initiative teams and grantees.
- Partnership and representation: You’ll work closely with the Foundation’s central communications team to bring effective data visualization to our external channels. You will also write and publish for the Foundation’s platforms and be encouraged to share your work at conferences and other venues.
