Description

The program places graduate students or recent graduates with a technical background-- like computer science, engineering, data science, and informatics-- as technology policy advisors to members of Congress and congressional committees. Fellows have worked for members ranging from Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY) and Sen. Schatz (D-HI) to Sen. Paul (R-KY) and Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX)

Program fellows will work in Congress from June - December 2019, with an option to apply to extend the program for an additional six months through May 2020. The program is paid. Fellows are offered needs-based stipends and funds for relocation, health care, and travel during the fellowship.
