Data perspectives on social phenomena

Biography

I am interested in using data to make observations about social issues and phenomena; the combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches often helps in the creation and discovery of unique perspectives and solutions.  I have previously worked with the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Privacy at the Coleman Research Lab, which seeks to address inequalities regarding privacy/cybersecurity information and content in underrepresented and underserved communities.  I have also worked as a data analyst at Night Out / Night Off, a program that seeks to connect graduate students of color with arts and culture events, to identify trends of audience demographics and interests.
