Biography

Colin's most recent experience is in corporate investigations within the commercial aviation industry, however he also has a diverse background in public service. Colin was previously a digital forensic examiner within the Department of Defense, where he focused on conducting investigations into cybercrime, counterterrorism, and financial crimes. Colin's interest in the ethics and safe use of technology stem largely from the work he did as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, where he investigated matters concerning CSAM and human trafficking. Outside of his professional experience, Colin is passionate about helping vulnerable members of the community using technology. Some of his volunteer work includes public speaking in programs that teach children and parents about data privacy and safe online behaviors.

Overall, Colin is passionate about people, technology, and a good cup of coffee. He is always looking to broaden his horizons and greatly enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams.
