David Leighton

I am a technology industry veteran and my career has spanned more than two decades across a variety of different technologies and roles. My current focus is enabling enterprises to meet their business objectives by leveraging cloud technologies. I consider myself a “full stack” engineer and started my career designing transistors and have worked my way up the stack designing microchips, boards, systems, and I now focus on cloud architectures. Prior to Google, I worked for Amazon Web Services enabling Fortune 500 companies on their journey into cloud. I have also held sales and engineering roles at Nortel, Bell Labs and Cisco. I did my undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto and received my masters from Cornell.
