Djamal Pullom

I am a U.S. Navy officer rapidly approaching retirement and career transition.  I have been a nuclear submarine officer for the past 21 years, and I have a good bit of experience in operations research as well as an MSOR from Georgia Tech.  Since my graduate degrees are 19 years old now and operations research is the logical precursor to data science, I am looking forward to diving into the data science field with both feet, educationally and professionally.  I live in the Seattle area, I have been married for almost 18 years, and we have a sixteen-year-old daughter and a thirteen-year-old son.
