Jason Papale

Hello, my name is Jason Papale, and I am originally from the New Orleans area.  In 2018, I moved to San Antonio, TX from Hawaii to take a Business Operations Analyst position at USAA.  In this capacity, I work with a team of other analysts to leverage the data assets available at the enterprise to provide insights and answer business questions poses by business partners and executives.  Prior to employment with USAA, I served in the Navy as a submarine officer for approximately 8 years.  During that time, I spent 6 years in Pearl Harbor, HI, where I completed a 3 year tour as a divison officer aboard the fast attack submarine USS Columbia and a 3 year tour as a tactics instructor at the Naval Submarine Training Center Pacific (NSTCP).  During my time onboard the USS Columbia, I completed a successful 6-month deployment to the western Pacific, as well as multiple other local operations and maintenance periods.  During my time as an instructor, I regularly provided instruction to U.S. submariners, and as the command's international training officer, also provided instruction to submariners of 7 other countries.  Regarding my educational background, I have a BS in Psychology, an MBA in Project Management, as well as extensive Navy nuclear training and experience.  Prior to transitioning out of the military, I also acquiried a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
