Biography
My name is Michael Townsend and I work as a Aerospace Systems Engineer at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT. My team develops on-board engine health monitoring algorithms extracting / trending full flight streaming data off of PW's F-135 Engine on the F-35 Fighter.
I chose MIDS because working in my current role Ive fallen in love with the data science field and I hope I can expand my data science skills to give me more diverse career options following the program.
In my free time I enjoy long-distance running, sports (baseball / football primarily), & recording vocal covers!
