Napoleon Paxton

Hi! My name is Napoleon and I teach in both the MIDS and MICS programs. I serve as an executive at AI Squared where I bring over 20 years of experience operating and interacting with stakeholders within the US Federal marketplace. I have spent significant and meaningful time as a Marine, a civilian computer scientist, and as a contractor supporting the US armed forces. My expertise lies at the cross section of cyber security and data science. I received my formal training at Campbell University (Associates), Elizabeth City State University (Bachelors), UNC Charlotte (PhD in Information Technology), and UC Berkeley (MIDS). I bring a passion for teaching along with an obsession for safe learning environments where everyone's voice is heard and information and ideas can flow freely.
