Noura Howell

My work combines color-changing fabrics in clothing with biosignals display in social contexts. More broadly, I'm interested in the areas of materiality of information representation, designing affective systems, and intimacy and HCI.

Formerly I worked on web development, human centered design, and hardware prototyping for creative tools and/or sustainable development at Intel Labs, the MIT Media Lab, The Echo Nest, and with various organizations in Bali, Morocco, and China.
