Biography
I hold a B.S. degree in Geosciences from National Taiwan University and a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University. I currently work in the oil and gas industry as a petroleum engineer. During my career in the industry, I have been combining data-driven solutions with conventional physics-based tools to resolve engineering/business problems. It is really exciting to see how data and technology transform the energy industry. Aside from work, I enjoy hiking, observing wildlife, collecting rocks, finding fossils, watching Discovery channel, and other nature-related activities.
