Richard Oldham

Richard Oldham (MS, Information and Data Science) BS, Software Engineering, 2023, California State University San Marcos.

Richard is a military veteran and family man from San Marcos, California. His first major accomplishment after separating from the military was completing his undergraduate studies of Software Engineering. Richard is currently focused on fundamental topics including and related to Machine Learning. Richard is also interested in Deep Learning. Whether it is Machine Learning or Deep Learning, Richard is interested in designing data driven software that supports embedded systems. While studying for his undergraduate degree, Richard was thoroughly engaged in the study of fundamental computer science, embedded systems, and software engineering topics. His coursework included the completion of dozens of individual and group programming projects in various languages. His professional experience includes time as a Software Engineer Intern with a major defense contractor.  In his free time, Richard enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
