Biography
I am a Sr. Scientific Engineering Associate in the Energy Efficiency Standards Department and Building Technology and Urban Systems Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). My research at LBNL involves conducting market research and technical analyses to determine the impact of federal appliance efficiency standards and investigating miscellaneous electrical loads (MELs) and ways to reduce plug load standby consumption. I hold a B.S. in General Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and an M.S. in Environmental Systems: Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and toddler, building things and tinkering, playing tennis, and practicing the guitar.
