Biography
I am an Applied scientist at Amazon, developing large-scale machine learning systems for Amazon devices.
I have many years of expereince in developing production-level ML systems for big companies like Amazon, Meta, and a leading finance firm.
My primary focus has been building scalable recommender systems that serves millions of users, and I lead the entire process from data engineering to model design, training, and deployment.
Prior to the industry, I did my PhD in particle physics, focusing on the search for new elementary particles at CERN. At School of Information, Berkeley, I teach the course Machine learning at Scale.
