Uzair Mansuri

I am currently a technical project manager working at Raytheon Technologies (formerly UTC), responsible for managing our current portfolio of commercial gas turbine engine controls. My experience includes application of algorithms, data science, and mechanism design to the study of Aerospace components, markets, and societal systems at large. I am pivoting my Aerospace Engineering career towards data science and business analytics. Some topics I’ve recently worked on are: pricing strategies for subscription services, including predictive models for measuring revenues & statistical tests for fair pricing. My research interest lies in the field of addressing policy problems through technical innovation. With a vast amount of information now collected on our online and offline actions — from what we buy, to where we travel, to who we interact with - we have an unprecedented opportunity to study complex social systems, which i plan to exploit by learning relevant tools from the MIDS program.
