Biography

Dr. Vasha DuTell is a computer vision researcher with specialization in human vision and neuroscience. She recieved her PhD in Vision Science from UC Berkeley School of Optometry, where she worked with Drs. Bruno Olsahusen and Martin Banks in eye tracking, natural scene statistics, and human visual perception. She is currently a postdoc at MIT working with Drs. Ruth Rosenhotlz and Bill Freeman, doing reserch in computer vision and representation learning approaches to human peripheral vision, and spatiotemporal texture processing. In addition, she is the Co-Founder and CEO of Yoku AI, a startup informing critical design choices with human visual perception.
