Heart-Focus Game Development for Kids
Attention and focus are valuable commodities within a learning environment and HRV (Heart Rate Variability) has been shown to correlate with improved student behavioral outcomes and increased academic performance. This project will evaluate the enjoyment and efficacy of several interactive games content integrated with a heart rhythm software system. The end product will be the development of a prototype game that takes into account this research and would be appropriate for the California Department of Education content standards for Mental, Emotional and Social Health for 3rd – 6th grade.
