Living Archives: Preserving a Mobilized Culture

We explore how archival advocates engage with marginalized communities to preserve, contextualize, and provide broad access to born digital citizen documentation. An extension of the research is a mobile application prototype to help archivists participate earlier in the lifecycle of digital media, ensuring provenance, authenticity, and long term preservation.
