Trace+Share

Our project aims to design a mobile app that facilitates users to record and share their trip memories when traveling near and far. Many travelers enjoy recording and sharing places visited and memorable moments during a trip. Existing mobile and web applications for trip journals are user input intensive. Trip experience is often documented from a user's single point of view. This project will enhance the user experience by minimizing user input, and automating route tracking and journal creation. The project will also design interactions that allow group travelers to record trip experience collaboratively. Data collected from the crowd is then used to provide travel recommendations and guides.
