lucyd Music Recommendation Platform

lucyd is a music recommendation platform designed to address the lack of opportunities for users to interact with and learn from their music recommendations available on other “black box” platforms today.

Starting with the Million Song Dataset, we are using LDA topic modeling, K-means clustering, cosine similarity calculations, and D3 visualizations for our MVP that we have launched via a serverless cloud-deployed webapp to music “savants and enthusiasts” who are active in curating and exploring music.
